With over 25 years of experience in nonprofit and higher education sectors, I am a seasoned communications and engagement professional who is passionate about advancing the field of research computing and data. I currently lead communications and outreach efforts for CaRCC, the Campus Research Computing Consortium, an organization that supports the development and adoption of best practices, resources, and builds communities for the research computing and data (RCD) profession. I also provide strategic communications consulting for Internet 2 Research Engagement. I manage the production and dissemination of content on various platforms, such as blogs, newsletters, webinars, podcasts, and social media, to inform, educate, and engage the research computing and data community. I also collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as researchers, practitioners, administrators, and funders, to foster partnerships, outreach, and advocacy for research computing and data initiatives. Additionally, I leverage my skills and knowledge in writing, editing, grants administration, media and publicity, and non-profit management to support the strategic vision and goals of CaRCC and its partners.
