Within the Asset Data Analysis & Intelligence Team I provided critical analysis and insight into asset data and operations to drive intelligent business decisions and improvements. Utilising my knowledge and experience of asset management, National Highways asset network and asset management system to provide intelligent asset data for asset life cycle and deterioration modelling, improve data quality, develop business productivity tools for increased efficiency, create value-added reports for improved operations and carry out data analysis to highlight issues and promote solutions. Key achievements:o National defect report - Identified an issue with defect reporting inconsistencies, developed a solution and implemented a new report for accurate defect rectification performance. I approached colleagues from around the country and implemented the new report across all regions for reporting back to the Operations Performance Team, and ultimately the Office of Road and Rail, for National Highways overall performance against defectso Operational Excellence 2025 (Cyclical Maintenance) - I delivered a national suite of dashboards to enable comparison of cross regional cyclical performance – the first of its kind across Operationso Maintenance Requirements Plan (MRP) – Through collaboration with Asset Needs colleagues and our M&R contractor I created, developed and delivered the MRP for the EM allowing for, clear planning/programming, performance monitoring, and the delivery of our cyclical programme and obligations to maintain the network to a safe standard
