Dar was a key engineer for EMC Corporation in Engineering. His lab was filled with prototype hardware and software that most people would never get to see. Being an Industry expert most key engineers don't have time to chat with the support personal. Dar wasn't like that. He would take the time out of his busy schedule to chat with the support people and explain the process of developing and examine bleeding technologies. I met Dar at EMC 15 years ago. If I owned a technology company this would be the Super bowl hire. Most engineers at his level don't have the time to ask you how your day is going or even care. Dar was the exception. If you have worked in the Industry at this level you will know what I mean. EMC had some of the sharpest engineers in the industry for its time and Dar was a major contributor to EMC Engineering’s success over the years. We had a hall of patents and all of the support people that I worked with use to read all the patents and look for names of people that we supported. Dar and the teams that developed the technology would have their names put on these plaques. We called it the hall of fame. It was a pleasure to meet Dar and support the R&D labs on South Street and work with highly intelligent people over the years and Dar was nick named the Top Professor by Server Resources EMC Corporation. "
