Worked in the Electrochemistry and Corrosion laboratory of the Chemical Engineering department. My project focused on developing clean and sustainable alternative energy from renewable sources, this was done by studying the effects of Nickel-Cobalt oxide composition on its electrocatalytic activity in the oxygen evolution reaction.

Nigeria

• Contributed actively to achieving the Bronze Total Productive Management (TPM) brewery certification award through the use of Lean Management (TPM) best practices to implement continuous improvement, reduce costs.
• Was part of a team that implemented a Breakdown and Root Cause Failure analysis (RCFA) project that reduced the breakdown time of machines in the packaging production line to <60 minutes/day.
• Developed a template to monitor daily cleaning activities (CILT) on machines in the packaging production line in order to ensure safety and the continuous improvement of production processes.
• Led and supervised production teams with over 30 associates with variety of skills to achieve continuous improvement goals.
• Reviewed safe work permits for contractors in order to ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards.

Nigeria

• Participated in the effective project engineering development, operational readiness plan, cost control analysis, data inventory preparation, process equipment calculations and risk review for a multi-billion-dollar.
• . Participated in Process Flows Diagrams (PFDs), Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), process calculations and process design reviews.
• Prepared monthly Gas production technical reports and presentation.
• Performed hazard and operability studies (HAZOP) on new and existing oil production plants to identify safety hazards and recommend practical mitigation methods for such hazards.
• Analyzed samples using a gas chromatograph at the gas plant laboratory to ensure resulting products from extraction, refining and processing conform to specifications.
