Manufacturing Engineer
Current• Design, evaluate and improve manufacturing process by implementing technologies within schedule and budgetary parameters.• Troubleshoot complex problems by identifying root-causes of equipment failures and develop hands-on maintenance skills.• Collaborate with other engineering stakeholders, vendors and customers on problem solving and continuous improvement to the design of equipment and quality of products.• Develop corrective and preventive action plans by performing root cause analysis (5 whys, cause and effect fish bone diagram and etc).• Involved in control plan, PFMEA, work instructions and other documents development for new products.• Confers with production group concerning product design and tooling to ensure efficient production methods.• Coordinates with customers and respond to customer request to determine product specifications and design changes.• Provides information for management decisions from a technical and technical cost perspective.• Confers with management, engineering, and other staff regarding manufacturing capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.• Applies statistical process control (SPC) to estimate future manufacturing potential. Analyzed statistical data and product specifications to determine standards, establishing quality and reliability objectives of finished product.• Confers with vendors and management personnel regarding purchases, product specifications, manufacturing capabilities, delivery timelines for incoming shipments of parts or components.• Develop and implements lean manufacturing processes to reduce waste, increase efficiency and quality.• Managed multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to tight deadlines
