I work in Marketing on the Web Services team. We are responsible for a lot of the websites offered by WoodmenLife. My job is to make sure we have a complete set of requirements, we test the changes we're making to ensure the quality and to help the team meet our commitments while considering our capacity. I also act as the scrum master for the team.

I help customers who are new to Tigerpaw software. I guide them to resources that are applicable to their business. My role is to be their implementation coordinator. The last project team I worked on was replacing the backbone of WoodmenLife. We were focused on replacing the Policy Administration System which houses all the information about every insurance certificate that Woodmen supports. I was part of the team that decided which software provider to use, I helped in some prep analysis and I developed a testing strategy. Prior to that team I worked on implementing small software changes. Users would submit a request, I interviewed the user, analyzed the issue and worked with developers to implement a solution. I tested the changes and trained employees prior to implementation.

Greater Omaha Area

I worked as a Business Analyst/Quality Analyst in NetControl department. I created documentation for new development, tracked defects and tested java services. I used homegrown tools as well as open source tools like FIT and JMeter. I also verified data with PL/SQL. I ran scrum, sprint planning and sprint retrospectives. We used a product called Version 1 to track our Agile projects and the Wiki to share information. We used an HP product called Quality Center for our ticketing system to track defects and changes. In this department I have also worked as a Quality Analyst where I created manual and automated test scripts.

I developed templates for web pages to be used by non-technical users. I used JavaScript, Idoc Script, HTML,and CSS. I worked within an Oracle product called UCM (Universal Content Management) and Site Studio. I worked with Union Pacific's Graphic Designer and Editors to uphold brand standards. I created and led training. I made quick reference guides.

I created a prototype CRM application for the business managers in a UP subsidiary, Transentric. I worked with Microsoft Access, Visual Basic and Oracle. In Access, I created a GUI and built dynamic reports based on the data imported from Oracle. I worked with Managers to gather requirements for the design and on-going project changes.
