Oversees IMG’s subadviser relationships with 37+ investment management firms. Serves as a liaison with the Nationwide's Investment Management Group's Board of Trustees and Board of Trustees Investment Committee. Coordinates and generates subadviser-related deliverables for quarterly board meetings and the annual contract renewal process (15c). Coordinates subadviser performance and investment due diligence between outside investment teams and IMG senior management, marketing, sales, and business partners. Leads and coordinates the onboarding of new subadvisers, interacting with the investment management firms and all of the various teams within IMG in order to negotiate contracts, gain board approval and effectively implement the firm’s investment strategy. Serves as part of the Nationwide's Investment Management Group's oversight team supporting large, mid, small, and non-US equity subadvisers. Supports investment manager review and strategy selection for clients and business partners. Analyzes investment manager performance to assess alignment between portfolio returns and investment objectives in various market environments. In addition I oversee existing and new subadviser relationships. Coordinates subadviser communications, reporting, and facilitates travel and meetings between subadviser senior management and investment teams, and IMG senior management, marketing, sales, and business partners. Responsible for leading and coordinating the onboarding of new subadvisers, interacting with the investment management firms and all of the various teams within IMG. In addition, generates subadviser-related deliverables for IMG’s subadviser quarterly due diligence.

This was a newly created position tasked with figuring out what products Nationwide’s Variable Agents were currently able to sell, create a process to screen these products going forward and implement a process to ensure the agents are only selling the approved products. Developed a screening process to complete due diligence on all variable financial products. This includes mutual funds, variable annuities, variable life, corporate life, managed accounts, and group retirement plans. Chairperson for the NSLLC product committee. Presented proposed product lineup changes and potential new screens to our product committee (senior management). Nationwide Securities, LLC’s Registered Investment Advisor Specialist. This included updating our firm ADV part 2 and creating a managed account product guide and training materials. Completed NSLLC’s annual due diligence review of our third-party investment advisers. Worked with compliance to train our internal associates on new products or updates to existing products.

Asked to join Nationwide when they launched ProAccount with only 8 individuals. (Previously worked for a competing money manager utilizing the same software). Being on the ground of a small team gave me the advantage of learning and participating in each aspect of the business. My primary responsibility was to trade and maintain investment portfolios (420 portfolios) provided by Wilshire (Nationwide’s Independent Financial Expert). Was also responsible for enrolling new participants and answering any escalated investment questions. Worked as the product specialist to develop marketing materials and client communications. Was the project lead to rollout of the investment management overlay service to Nationwide’s 457 clients. Led the business through an SEC and two internal audits.
