As the Admissions Director and Live Well Partner Coordinator at iWILL 'til i'mWELL I play a crucial role in shaping the journey of our clients towards a healthier and more fulfilling life. I oversee the intake process, ensuring a smooth and supportive transition for our clients. I work closely with individuals and their families, providing them with comprehensive information about our programs and services, and guiding them in making informed decisions that best suit their needs.A significant part of my role involves designing the patient front-end experience. I am responsible for creating an intuitive and user-friendly interface that simplifies the intake process and enhances the overall patient experience. This involves designing the Intake Coordinator role and ensuring the intake/customer relationship provides an accessible and intuitive experience for everyone who seeks our help.In addition to this, I collaborate with our care team's executive leadership to design and implement a comprehensive training program for our intake coordinators, wellness partners, MD's, nurse practitioners, nurses, and therapists. These programs are designed to equip our comprehensive care team with the necessary skills and knowledge to provide the highest level of care and support to our clients through our unique platform and telemedicine/telehealth program.As the Live Well Partner Coordinator, I foster and manage relationships with our network of wellness partners, who are peer support specialists. I am dedicated to curating a diverse range of resources and services, aiming to provide holistic and personalized care for each client.I am passionate about making a difference in people's lives, and I am proud to be part of a team that is committed to promoting health, wellness, and recovery.

As Director of Peer Support my responsibility is to develop, implement, and sustain all peer-to-peer mental health support and crisis response services for Sean's House, a 24/7 walk-in community center for youth ages 14-24. I am working to modernize the process of education, support, and community inclusion to increase access for youth and young adults and build a competent workforce of Peer Specialists in the local community. To do this I have worked to: - Develop the protocol for outreach, community referrals, and follow-up services.- Develop the Youth Peer Specialist roles and responsibilities for students and community advocates who are volunteering with the foundation.- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for Youth Peer Specialists and guests of Sean's House.- Establish and ensure a strengths-based person-driven culture of service provision is provided.- Orient new staff and ensure their wellness and comfort in supporting others.- Ensure Peer Specialist program regulations, guidelines, and practices are being followed.- Review efficacy of routine documentation, make necessary updates, and attend staff meetings.- Provide weekly group check-in supervision and individual supervision on a daily basis.- Review staff documentation for quality and accuracy.- Monitor overall job performance, including productivity.- Ensure completion of supporting documentation as well as goal-driven peer engagement.- Network and collaborate with other service systems.- Develop and diversify the role of the Peer Specialists and Peer Supervisors.- Work with marketing and communications to articulate the value of peers and peer-related programming.

In this role I provide outreach wellness checks for individuals who are seeking temporary or permanent housing/treatment for mental health and substance use disorders during the COVID-19 pandemic. I also conduct research on Peer Recovery Support Programs, Health Integration, and Social Determinants of Health for transition aged youth and young adults. This work supports my requirements to become a Certified Peer Recovery Specialist in the State of Delaware.

Founding member of the Peer24 Student Peer Recovery Support Initiative under the College of Health Sciences.In this role, I facilitate virtual webinars and program development meetings for students and faculty in the Peer24 Initiative and work with Student Peer Recovery Specialist Trainees to identify gaps and opportunities to strategically refine the student experience. I am also responsible for promoting communication and collaboration between project stakeholders including the Mental Health Association in Delaware and SL24's Unlocke the Light Foundation.

Leading a student team to design and execute events with the goal of raising funds to support student wellness and mental health resources on campus. Forming a community of positivity to lift mental health stigma and spread kindness and concern for fellow students across campus.
