Hi, my name is Daria Phillips and I help to provide a productive and welcoming environment through interpersonal communication and connection. I am an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual with 4 years of experience in client services and administration, 5+ years in the child care and early childhood education, and 3+ years in free-lance writing. My desire is not only to achieve my goals but to aid others in their achievement as well. I am passionate about connecting to those around me, in a manner that empathizes, respects, and honors the humanity of all whom I encounter. As a young black woman, I understand what it means to feel overlooked and undervalued. As a result I have made it my mission to make everyone I interact with feel seen and heard. Compassion truly goes along way. One of my favorite quotes is: "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but often times better than a master of one." The term jack of all trades can come with good and bad connotations, but as I have moved throughout life I have come see the benefits of having knowledge and experience in many areas. My desire to expand my skill set and try new things means I will be a life long student. It also allows me to bring a wider perspective to any position, or environment that I occupy.
