Led strategic recommendations and implementation plans for advocating policy change, mobilizing supporters, decision-maker targeting, and effective partnership and coalition building – working with over 200 youth each quarterPresented recommendations to client and key stakeholders around policy, strategy, and implementation with a DEI focus Collaborated with the communication, outreach, and social work-based teams to distill research findings and develop effective messaging to advocate for special programs and financial assistance Write public-facing materials, including fact sheets, infographics, one-pagers, action alerts, and talking points to educate the campaigns’ target audiences and influence key decision-makersServed as a key subject matter expert and oversee special requests: family leave, program eligibility, mental health, etc. Co-managed and supported a group of 30+ high school students of color, from varying ethnic, financial and artistic backgrounds, through a three year extensive Art and Education program at Parsons School of Art and DesignCreated over 40 curriculum plans and workshops that met a multitude of needs and relayed information, encouraged dialogueOutreach leader maintained a supportive and transformative relationship and environment for students to feel safe
