CELI’s signature Fellowship Program seeks to support emerging leaders with diverse backgrounds and equips them with technical knowledge, leadership development training, and a passionate community dedicated to building an equitable, decarbonized, and resilient energy ecosystem.

-Oversee daily operations of the Jacobs Fitness Center by checking every area of the facility to make sure members are safely using cardio and strength equipment. -Organizing the front desk staff by scheduling shifts, conducting trainings, and supporting them in their specific roles when necessary.-Answering specific questions about AU RecFit memberships, group exercise classes, swim lessons, locker and equipment rental services, personal training services, and Bender Arena Events that the Member Services Specialist is unable to address.-Facilitate membership, group exercise, swim lesson, and locker sales transactions.Serve as a certified first responder in the event of a medical emergency in the facility until campus police and EMT services can arrive.

-Answered member questions about AU RecFit memberships, group exercise classes, swim lessons, locker and equipment rental services, personal training services, and Bender Arena Events-Checked in members and guests at the Jacobs Fitness Center front desk to ensure the safety of everyone in the facility. -Provided campus visitors and members of the AU community with directions to specific buildings and rooms on campus when asked.

-Demonstrated the proper use of equipment to the Jacobs Fitness Center members and guests when equipment was being used in an unsafe manner. -Assisted members, upon request, in lifting heavy weights by guiding them and helping them move the weight away from them if they were unable to lift it safely.

-Conduct research on newly open non-federal seats and ongoing endorsements of Democratic candidates in those seats to allow the EMILY’s List’s Campaigns Assistant to identify potential female, pro-choice candidates for the organization to encourage to run for office. -Provide assistance on campaigns of candidates endorsed by EMILY’s List by creating extensive donor profiles in their NGP Database. -Track statements made by endorsed candidates by collecting news articles about them daily to allow EMILY’s List to maintain the candidate's public image.

-Assisted OPE staff members in reaching out to hundreds of non-traditional environmental groups, specifically outdoor sports, racial minority, and religious groups, by collecting and analyzing thousands of comments on the EPA’s Clean Power Plan to reduce CO2 emissions and Waters of the U.S. rule to prevent freshwater pollution. -Facilitated a live, hour-long Twitter chat on climate change with EPA Administrator Gina McCarthy and the Olympic skiers, snowboarders, and resort owners who run the environmental non-profit Protect Our Winters.

-Organized each weekly issue of American CurrentSee Magazine by setting publication dates months in advance, communicating with writers about contracts and deadlines, and archiving unpublished content to ensure that each issue informed and entertained conservative readers.
