I was employed as an Assistant State Attorney in the Fourth Judicial Circuit of Florida for seven years. While there I handled cases ranging from domestic violence, driving under the influence and first degree murder. I first chaired many jury trials, including first degree murder trials. I worked in the Special Assault Unit, the Gun Crime Unit, and I was a member of the homicide rotation. I ended my career there as a felony Division Chief. While in private practice the past three years, I have primarily focused on family law and criminal defense.
