Working on a new Gas Terminal Plant getting built in the Shetlands Island. Doing various task which include:•Working in accordance with Work Pack, Permit to Work Systems, Procedures, Drawings and Sketches•Reading and interpreting drawings for pipe layout for different systems following information shown on blueprints and isometric drawings•Assembling, installing, fabricating new pipework for Gas Plant for different piping systems•Working with Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel pipes ranging from half inch to sixty inch•Working with heavy wall pipework preparing butt/field welds using manual tooling•Preparing and fabricating new pipework, setting up butt welds using grinders, internals and pipe clamps for welder to weld in position•Working as part of a team of pipefitters, welders and riggers to install new pipework, brackets, valves and fittings as detailed on the blueprints and isometric drawings•Working as part of a team to successfully complete jobs before given deadlines.

•Working in accordance with the Safety Pack and Permit to Work System•Reading and interpreting drawings for pipe layout for different systems following information shown on blueprints and isometric drawings•Assembling, fabricating, maintaining and repairing piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals and fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes •Working with Carbon Steel and Stainless Steel pipes ranging from half inch to sixty inch•Preparing and fabricating new pipework, setting up butt welds using grinders, internals and pipe clamps for welder to weld in position•Working as part of a team of pipefitters, welders and riggers to install new pipework, brackets, valves and fittings as detailed on the blueprints and isometric drawings • Joining pipe sections together after being pre-fabricated following blueprints and working to correctprocedures•Working as part of a team to successfully complete jobs before given deadlines.
