Current• Responsible for forecasting demand for the Sports Endeavors (Soccer.com) consumer business, a portfolio of 12,000 products at $135 million in annual revenue. • In the first three months in my role, I assessed the company’s reporting capability and maturity. Identified opportunities to streamline processes, develop contemporary reporting and analytics, and establish transparent data governance. Developed strategic plan and timeline for launching infrastructure improvements, and socialized with key executive stakeholders for buy-in. Executed plan and launched key tools and processes over the next twelve months, including:o Established the first weekly dashboard, used across the company to measure and monitor market share, growth, performance to margin, and sell-through by price tier and product line. o Developed and managed the company’s first structured open-to-buy analysis, enabling the company to focus on products with maximum return. Within 12 months of the launch process, revenue increased by 14.5%.o Established the company’s first weekly sell through reporting, identifying slow moving or dead items in supply, resulting in marketing promotion, discount, and sale of product to avoid inventory stack up.o Launched portfolio rationalization, a continuous process improvement methodology which reduced the number of low tier products to ensure the maximum return on cost of goods sold.o Implemented product lifecycle metrics and governance.o Developed and introduced warehouse bin management processes and reporting, and implemented weekly check-ins.• Partners closely with vendors (Nike, Adidas, Puma) providing key insights and analysis, such as monthly market share. • Responsible for monthly inventory declaration and write offs.• Facilitates weekly margin review with Consumer Merchandise team.• Facilitates monthly Sales, Operations, and Planning (SOP) reviews.
