Darius A. Perry is a Senior Manager of Talent Acquisitions at United States Air Force at United States Air Force. Colleagues describe him as "When I think of transformational leader, Darius is the definition! Darius took the team in Las Vegas, NV to new heights! During the largest down turn in Air Force Recruiting Service's history, and set a new high for new Airmen shipped to basic training! He is the example for all of my other supervisors to go by. I had him lead several training events with other regional supervisors and taught them how to lead their teams. He led his team with compassion, empathy, and accountability. He mentored a team of 10 recruiters with varying markets and abilities to crush all mission objectives. His team was the only team, and only one of 15 in the enterprise that met all mission objectives. Due to his efforts he was named to the Air Force Recruiting Service 2022 "Blue Suit" team, for being one of the top 18 Airmen in the enterprise! He also mentored our unit's top recruiter and the top rookie recruiter in the group. His trained, mentored and led his team to comprise 5 of the top 10 recruiters in our division, and his team was the top team in the division. Darius does things the "Right" way, this is why his team was able to look past all of the adversity that was going on in 2022, and lead his team to the top. He is a winner through and through.
