Darius is a 2018 graduate of Savannah State University where he received his Bachelor of Science Education and Bachelor of Biology degree. He is also a graduate of Georgia College and State University, where he received a graduate certificate in Nonprofit Leadership and Management in 2021. Between the years of 2017 and 2021, Darius had the opportunity to work as a Science teacher at Oglethorpe Charter School for Savannah Chatham County Public School System. Although his mind was in the public school system, his heart was in human services. Darius has always been an upstanding leader of his community. He has served in roles such as the State Board of the NAACP, community liaison for the Ronald McDonald House and Step-Up Savannah both in Savannah, Georgia, He has also led a multitude of service initiatives around various communities.“I’ve held numerous positions within community lines.
