◾ Installs, operates, and performs unit level maintenance on cable and wire communications systems, Fiber Optic networks and Copper networks, communication security devices, and associated equipment. ◾ Operates and performs Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS) on assigned vehicles and power generators. ◾ Successfully lead a four-man team during Operation Enduring Freedom to install over 60,000 feet of Fiber Optic Cable and provide services to over 20 multi-national organizations on base in Iraq. ◾ Perform tests on cable communications systems and circuit groups.◾ Operate manual and motorized cable construction equipment.◾ Coordinated and liaised with a diverse group of agencies to ensure communication abilities required for base security and expansion.

◾ Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructure, cameras, Access Control panels, Card scanners, Biometric Scanners; Install Fiber Optics networks, Cat V and Cat VI networks◾ Perform maintenance on existing cabling systems.◾ Install of televisions, routers and internet technology devices.◾ Troubleshoot issues with network and devices; repairing cable poles and towers.◾ Complete paperwork such as timesheets, checklists, vehicle inspection reports and service orders.◾ Provide service installs to a variety of sites, including home installations, complete apartment constructions, an extensive on-going project at Lipscomb University including all access control and cameras on site, as well as a complete camera replacement at Piedmont LNG Plant.
