Administrative Specialist
-Plans and conducts training for coworkers and subordinates that align with company core values including managing and developing subordinates to become more proficient administrators so that they may take on higher level tasks. -Oversees and maintains procedures for new and exiting personnel including processing all relocation, separation, and retirement orders during exceptionally high operational tempo periods and manages ongoing personnel files for over 200 employees using superb managerial skills and attention to detail. -Audits and conducts maintenance on all electronic records including pay and benefits as well as creates all pay related documents including travel claims and separation and retirement contracts. -Provides administration support and reports on cross functional teams including Joins, Legal, Temporary Additional Duty (TAD), Awards, Training, Education, Reenlistments, Extensions, Promotions, and Personnel Action Requests (PARs).-Consistently improving administrative processes by updating checklists to improve accuracy of outbound procedures, incorporating new separation requirements into standard operating procedure, and implementing new check-out processes to ensure all exiting employees complete the needed requirements. These changes increased customer service satisfaction by ensuring timely delivery of benefits and separation documents. -Manages monetary transactions for special company events including being the treasurer for the Marine Corps Ball.-Established procedures as the Official Mail Manager and provided mail training to newly assigned mail clerks.-Created the process as the Organizational Defense Travel Administrator (ODTA) to manage/update all profiles, review/audit all reports for timely submission of authorizations and vouchers, and report all required entries into the integrated pay and personnel system for active duty and reserve Marines.-Clearly articulates thoughts in both oral and written communication.
