This permission allowed me to put together the structure to launch that quiet campaign to name the gym after former athletic director Charlie Titus.• Current capital projects approved and funded flooring Beacon Fitness Center, modular shelving for equipment room, softball padding and drainage system, chillers for the ice rink and, women's hockey locker room, renovation of athletic training and equipment rooms all totaling over $1M.• Evaluation of the past five years of the annual golf classic fundraiser to determine the ROI of this event. This analysis revealed that the classic was in the red for the past five years. This led to the classic being put on hold.• Collaboration and Engagement: Collaborate with alumni relations on a 5k run through recreation. Increased registration and participation in the event by 45%, with a total of 350 people. This event raised money to help with chrome books for students with laptops during the pandemic. Overall, the fund developed by University Advancement distributed over 200 chrome books to students.• Engaged "The Base," a nonprofit youth empower in academics and sport in the inner city of Boston.• Appeared on a panel "Power of Sport" to support awareness of career avenues within power young people should consider and show individuals of color in those areas. Also, I spoke with the girls’ softball team to encourage them to work hard and find their passion. -
