- Supported the performance tuning process of one of the power management unit features that will be part of the next generation of processors. Several benchmarks tests on target processors were ran using different system configurations, and hundreds of files were processed and analyzed to identify the data flow pattern and optimize the power management feature accordingly.- Developed a set of python scripts to process and summarize benchmark results. The scripts allowed the creation and comparison of multiple processors' performance reports, achieving an exponential reduction of time during the extraction and analysis of this type of data. The time was reduced from one hour to fifteen seconds when processing a benchmark with thirty tests.- Developed a multilevel documentation system for the organizational group I was part of. The multilevel documentation consisted of two hierarchical trees related to the Intellectual Property (IP) module owned by the team. One tree was associated with the logical aspect of the IP (subIPs, power and communication interfaces, connections between internal modules and subIPs, etc.) while the other was associated with the actual physical construction of the IP (layouts, modules clusters, and subIPs).- Supported the improvement of the reliability of the RTL model developed by the team I was part of. A set of bugs (errors) were identified and fixed accordingly using industry designed flows for this purpose. The necessary changes in the RTL code and validation tests were implemented and submitted to the central repository.
