Manage offshore operations department that supports Wells Fargo Advisors functions and processes. Review and monitor all outgoing and incoming money wires for all domestic and federal tradesCompile, organize and produce all domestic and government related audit requests for several different audits throughout the year.

Monitor and facilitate the settlement of loaned and borrowed securities for Stock Loan sales desk.Monitor and facilitate the settlement of loaned and borrowed securities for Government (Bank of New York) sales desk.Analyze and review Stock Loan and Government contracts to confirm we are in unison with contra firm and in compliance with SEC rule 17a-3(Books and Records)Collaborate with contra firms as well as internal departments to resolve any discrepancies on loaned or borrowed security contracts. Research and implement the price of borrowed and loaned securities daily, to ensure we are not a risk of being unprofitable as well as stay in compliance with market rates. Monitor and balance all stock loan and government suspense accounts (consisting of money and shares) and general ledger accounts (consisting of money) daily, to ensure we are not at risk of holding position overnight. Compile, organize and produce all Stock Loan related audit request for several different audits throughout the year. Meet weekly with operations management to review and analyze stock loan settlements policies and procedures in an effort to streamline processes. Oversee all training of entry level and junior level team members. Facilitate the duties of all Stock loan desk and functions to make sure all desk are covered and to eliminate operational riskSupervise and perform quality control checks on all entry level and junior level team members’ processes until they are able to work independently.

Analyze and review stock loan reports daily, to confirm what CNS fails are in jeopardy of not settling.Monitor our CNS securities throughout the day to determine what stocks need to be recalled to ensure our CNS deliveries in accordance with SEC guidelines. Work with management and internal traders to execute (Buy Stock and pass the price) on firms that have not returned stock to First Clearing within FINRA regulated timeframes. Review FINRA regulations to ensure internal policies and procedures are in compliance.Train and monitor junior team members on handling escalated and time sensitive transactions.Train and monitor junior level team members on the Obligation Warehouse Buy-Ins desk and Fail to Deliver Buy-In desk

Monitor and work the fail to deliver trade desk, which include all equity, fixed income, mutual fund and foreign trades that failed to be delivered to contra firms. Accept and monitor all Buy In intents issued against first clearing by contra firms. Correspond with contra firms to ensure they receive the correct amount of shares and money attached to the failed trades.Create daily spread sheets for regulatory and control area, reflecting trades due to settle the current bossiness day and the next business day. Correspond with the vault, DTC/Security Clearance group, DVP group, and international settlements group to get shares delivered to the proper firms.
