• Perform analysis on North American waterborne crude markets, featuring weekly information on shipments to, from, and within the United States. Focus on trends and anomalies within waterborne crude flows, with information on domestic and global crude market economics, storage and pipeline data, as well as geopolitical events. • Do analysis on the crude-by-rail volumes and industry in North America, with weekly commentary on trends and developments. Analysis utilizes regional and global market economics, crude production, storage, and pipeline data. Led an overhaul of the report and its content amid a changing marketplace and infrastructure.• Cultivate and foster relationships with market participants. Interface with market sources and customers to discuss market trends and Genscape offerings. • Collaborate with the entire Market Analysis team, performing analysis on trends in the entire supply chain for Genscape reports and blogs, as well as major media outlets.• Key driver in expanding Genscape’s pricing capabilities, contributing to the launch of daily price assessments and serve as the go-to person on team for information on crude markets.• Interface and collaborate with senior management in Genscape and team members from other sectors of the Oil team, as well as Analytics, Marketing and Sales.• Utilize Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft PowerPoint.• In February 2017, promoted to Senior Oil Analyst from Oil Editor and joined the Business Development and Market Analysis team.

● Covered the offshore US Gulf Coast and West Texas crude markets while staying on top of the changing landscape of domestic crude markets such as the Bakken, the Rockies, Eagle Ford, Permian Basin and Houston, and had an integral role working with senior management in developing new assessments and responding to the changing marketplace amid the shale revolution and subsequent price collapse. ● Working as part of a team and independently, I recognized and reported on trends in the marketplace while utilizing data on crude production and supply/demand fundamentals, as well as the impact of structural changes in the market. ● In a senior role on the crude team, I worked with other members on the team when issues or questions arise about the crude markets or Platts methodology. ● Selected to participate in Platts four-week Editorial Abroad program in London, where I had a steep learning curve for the European Biofuels markets and mastered the methodology as well as the market trends and fundamentals.● As a senior member of the oil team, I took part in a Structured Market Engagement/Subject Matter Expert rotation, where I interfaced with players in the crude markets to discuss recent developments and market trends affecting the Americas. ● Routinely was the point man for source questions and customer inquiries, and gave presentations to groups about Platts methodology and about various aspects of the crude markets and developments affecting the industry.
