Senior Occupational Therapist at Royal Bolton Hospital. Motivated to work hard, enthusiastic to learn new skills and apply them effectively.Current Research Project : “An exploration of future practice choices based on the past practice placement experience’s of final year occupational therapy students” I have been able to achieve a variety of inter professional, client centred and therapeutic skills through practice placements within Cardiology, Gastroenterology, Complex Care, Surgery, Trauma Orthopaedics, Community Paediatrics, Community Mental Health, Acute Stroke. These skills have been achieved throughout the academics years, the theoretical knowledge taught by the lecturers and clinical knowledge by being a educator. This has taught me the importance of collaborative practice with patients and the multi disciplinary team, clinical governance and CPD.Working as a security professional up to 12 hours per day for 5 days a week throughout summer and 12 hours per day on weekends currently, has enabled me to develop effective communication and team working between colleagues and to understand everyone has a equal role to play
