I graduated from Elizabeth City State University where I played Football and obtained my Bachelors degree in Computer Science. Upon graduating from ECSU I was blessed with the opportunity to work as a Software QA Engineer at Orasi, which later became Qualitest. After 2 years of growth with Qualitest, I started taking initiative to grow my knowledge in the web development field. One Udemy course later I was given the opportunity to enter the JUMP program with Cognixia in May. The JUMP program helped me grow in all aspects of life and I was able to meet a lot of good people in the process. After graduating the JUMP program I was later approached with a job offer from Pay Tel Communications for a QA Analyst position. Since I wanted to go into web development I was hesitant at first but after learning more about the company and what they do for communities around the country, I wanted to become apart of it. Also I had an amazing experience as a Software QA Engineer so I wanted to experience that feeling once again. I'm glad God blessed me with this opportunity to work for Pay Tel and continue growing with an amazing company and team! I look forward to what the future holds, and continuing to add to my story.
