Pay Tel began operating in 1986, providing payphone service to clients throughout the southeastern United States. In 1989, Pay Tel introduced inmate telephone service and, over the next decade, grew to become the market-dominant provider to confinement facilities in the Southeast. Building on our strong client base, Pay Tel has expanded operations to offer service nationwide.
