Arranging programs for the Carol Stream Rotary Club

Kids Against Hunger - Fox Valley is a non-profit organization that is an independent satellite of Kids Against Hunger or New Hope, MN. KAH-FV raises funds in order to package a dry, nutritious blend of processed soy, dried vegetables, rice and a chicken flavoring with 21 vitamins and minerals. Each package provides six helpings when cooked, each one giving all the essential nutrients for healthy life for one person for a day. 10% of the food produced is distributed locally through the Humanitarian Service Project of Carol Stream and 90% does to feed hungry children and parents in Nicaragua. All mail goes to 300 Schick Road, Bartlett, IL 60103.Food packing is done periodically in a warehouse provided behind Harris Bank at Lawrence Ave. and 400 E. Irving Park Road in Roselle, IL. Volunteers are encouraged to visit www.kah-fv.org to learn more about the projects and to sign up to assist in packing the food at the assigned times.

Since 1992 I have served part time as a Pastor for Poplar Creek Church in Bartlett, IL. I remain active in home Bible Studies, serving in various official capacities and occasionally preaching.
