As a Piping Designer and Project CAD Lead, I oversee the drafting, design, and development of piping projects within the drafting department. I work closely with engineering and other discipline leads to ensure designs are thoroughly developed and accurately translated into production drawings. Additionally, I hold regular coordination meetings with the project manager to identify areas where I can provide support and to address project needs that require their oversight. I also manage various collateral tasks to ensure the project stays on track. CADWorx spec building, Model development, adhering to codes and design specifications, drawing production, drawing reviews, model reviews, progress deliverables, and final document preperation/turnover at close of project to mention a few.
