Responsible for Introducing and managing new business, achieving over £500,000 in new customer orders, 4 of which are 100k plus accounts per annual. This contributed to a to a 300% growth of order Book over nearly 4 years.Submitting manufacturing quotations including material surface treatment sub contract operations Tooling and work holding and delivery.Supply Chain Management, Working globally with all company suppliers, materials, tooling, service engineers, sub contract manufacturers, IT support, ERP system support, Logistic companies, Recruitment agencies and waste disposal.Responsible for researching and making a justification of MRP/ERP system (Progress Plus). Insuring that live date was achieved and the introduction was smooth along with the day to day running of the system. I am very proud ofthis and feel we transformed the business.Researching and installation of new state of the art machines and CAD/CAM software (Feature Cam), ensuring that I train appropriate employees to achieve goals outlined in the justification. I have been successful in reducing the number of machining operations and reducing machining time, achieving far higher hourly return rates then targeted. Holding weekly Production Meetings and monthly quality meetings ensuring that communication is of the highest level.Recruiting and internal training, I have had large amounts of success from bringing in younger people into the company reducing the average age and passing on valuable skills creative a healthy mix of youth and experience including apprenticeships.Production management, shop loading scheduling improving delivery and quality performance. General administration, computer tasks on Exel, managing the shop loading. Writing sales reports, meeting with customers and suppliers.
