Participate in planning meetings, recommending space, personnel, and equipment requirements. ·        Continually evaluate processes and methods, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment, performance, utilization of people, and quality of product. ·        Recommend preventative maintenance procedures and plan the repair of machines and equipment to minimize downtime. ·        Act as a technical resource to address and resolve inquiries and problems; analyze and resolve work problems, and assist workers in solving work problems. ·        Maintain departmental supplies, tools, equipment, and order as necessary. ·        Maintain and track productivity of all employees, ·        Handle and file all BOL’s ·        Check all orders for accuracy ·        Schedule LTL pick-ups via phone or email ·        Load and unload trailers with sit down, as well as stand up forklifts ·        Control dock/staging area operations ·        Inspect trailers ,make dock assignments ,prioritize loads, direct loading and coordinate truck departure

• Prioritize, schedule, and delegate work assignments to ensure the production of company products at the highest quality meeting company performance standards, and customer specification and delivery requirements, in accordance with company policies and procedures.• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions.• Observe work and monitor gauges, dials, and other indicators to ensure that operators conform to production or processing standards. Responsible for meeting or exceeding company performance metrics for driving improvement and making well informed decisions for manufacturing activities, resource allocation and strategic planning.• Conduct employee training on equipment operations or work and safety procedures, or assign employee training to experienced workers. • Review monthly accounting close process including analytical review of the monthly operating results to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained.
