As Executive VP of Paradigm, was responsible for managing all Excalibur operations including software development, customer service, IT services, sales support, and Excalibur related business administration functions. Held this position for 17 years and was integral to the extraordinary growth of the Excalibur business during this time. The Petroleum Place Inc acquired Paradigm in 2000 and subsequently combined their several software product acquisitions into one multi-line operating entity to form P2 Energy Solutions Inc. Was appointed Senior VP for P2 in 2007, continuing responsibility for Excalibur business line operations management until departure after P2 was acquired by private equity firm Vista Equity Partners. Throughout 21 years at Paradigm/P2, maintained continuous direct involvement with customer service and software development projects with emphasis on Excalibur financial modules and particular focus on the Asset Management module in capacity of lead business analyst, product manager, and company-wide subject matter expert.

As Mgr of R&D dept, was responsible for the Excalibur Energy Management System (integrated oil & gas accounting, land, and production apps) software development, maintenance, documentation, quality assurance and version release distribution. Then as Mgr of Customer Services dept, was responsible for Excalibur client user training, implementation, data conversion, help desk support, software enhancement business analysis/design, and ongoing consulting.

As account rep, directly coordinated (or closely supervised) successful installation, training, and implementation of the Gathers Energy Management software package (integrated accounting, land, and production software for the O&G E&P industry) at over 25 companies. Also performed automated data conversions and business analysis, design, and programming of software enhancements. In 1985, promoted to Director of Energy Management Services and moved to headquarters location in Denver, where managed all staff responsible for software development (analysis, design, programming & testing), maintenance, documentation, customer support (user training, implementation, data conversion & ongoing consulting), and sales/marketing support.

As controller of new startup US E&P subsidiary of Canadian BlueSky Ltd, was responsible for setting up, hiring and management of accounting department for the new entity. Managed the transition of all US operational accounting functions from parent to sub.

Supervised AP dept personnel and functions, then supervised Joint Interest Accounting dept personnel and functions. Accounting manager of acquired company accounting functions. Worked on project to implement new accounting software system.
