I'm the creator of DJR Audio, a not-for-profit audio software development business based in the UK. I have over half a decade of experience with C++ and MATLAB programming and I'm always undertaking new projects with the aim of creating useful and meaningful software, both for my own business and the occasional freelance contract. I'm also a professional guitar tutor, with 25+ years of experience under my belt, and have taught some of the country's best talents. Over the last few years I have been involved in a great number of different and interestingly diverse projects: My web development skills (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript) have been put to good use and are showcased on both my www.djr-audio.co.uk and www.guitar-gym.com websites; I have composed orchestral music to accompany an audio book for an up-and-coming children's book author; My guitar playing has featured on several commercially available releases; and my audio software development projects have also found their way onto a few major music productions by some of the UK's top producers. This year I hope to gain some favourable peer reviews by submitting my software for inclusion on monthly journals and magazines. Colleagues know me as a highly creative individual who can read a learning curve and find the correct approach to complete the task at hand. I consider myself to be a perpetual student, motivated primarily by my own passion for the skills that I have acquired. While I love every aspect of what I do, one of the key ingredients for my idea of 'success' is being able to assess and understand a client's business goals and find the correct strategy to satisfactorily achieve their objectives.I hold a BSc. (Hons) Music Technology from Leeds Metropolitan University and Leeds College of Music.
Listed skills include Project Management, Guitar Tuition, Audio Engineering, C++, and 28 others.
