Partner in the Liverpool Legacy Team acting largely for Corporate clients on disease claims with special interest in all aspects of asbestos work and claims for cancer induced industrial diseases.The Liverpool team handles all areas of disease litigation and has a number of expert lawyers. The team are able to handle both individual claims and class actions against Corporate clients who operate in a wide range of industries including Manufacturing, Engineering and Retail Sectors.My passion is to add value to others in particular by helping to develop great lawyers and help clients to improve in their chosen fields.

During my time here I helped establish a dedicated disease team able to specialise and handle the complete range of disease litigation. I was promoted to Associate and then Partner within 5 years and specialised in Asbestos and NIHL work for a wide range of insurance clients.

During this role I handled a wide range of disease litigation for Corporate clients and insurers and specialised in historic claims arising from the Liverpool Docks involving asbestos induced injuries and Occupational Rhinitis. I also dealt with HAVS and NIHL claims involving Construction and Gas and Water Utility companies. I also had experience dealing with MIB motor claims and Catastrophic Injury claims.

During this role I dealt with family and conveyancing matters for 6 months. I spent 12 months in civil litigation handling a range of motor and disease litigation including a class action for typists with RSI complaints for Union represented claimants. I also represented insurers in defending motor claims.
