I am an Accredited Counter Fraud Specialist with over 10 years experience of investigating and reporting criminal offences in Scotland. I have achieved successful outcomes in large scale common law fraud, forgery and uttering and embezzlement cases. I have also successfully reported common law theft cases where the loss has been in excess of £1m. My cases have been heard at Summary, Solemn and High Court Level. I have conducted enquiries throughout Scotland, other parts of the United Kingdom and internationally including, Hong Kong, China, India, Luxembourg and Spain. I am currently undertaking a number of Bribery and Corruption investigations and have also provided guidance and assistance to a number of clients in this relatively new area of work. At the end of each investigation I provide a high quality written report, outlining the findings of the investigation which details any system weaknesses and advise the client of my recommendations and redress. I am fully trained investigative interviewer and I have undergone the Scottish Police College Disclosure Training and I am able to fully demonstrate my understanding of evidence integrity and procedure. I have conducted investigations into individuals, organised crime groups, national companies and multi national organisations.I am a Scottish Police College trained Financial Investigator and achieved my certificate in September 2009. I have experience of asset identification, restraint and recovery. My banking background has also assisted in the analysing and comprehension of complex financial documents. I am used to dealing with a complex and varied case load and I have the ability to handle and report multiple cases simultaneously. I have assisted the General Medical Council, General Pharmaceutical Council and Health Care Professions Council in regulatory investigations. I have also provided witness testament at internal disciplinary and employment tribunals.
