As the Lead mechanical engineer I am involved in the beginning of the project to assist in creating the proper specifications and to check the specifications before they are released. I also determine what document sealing requirements are required. I monitor the project and assist with code searches and technical issues that arise during the project. I perform / oversee / check any pumps, stress or other calculations that are required during the project. I check and perform a final review of the drawings and documents before they are released to confirm that they comply to Industry standards for quality and completeness, as well as to department standards and procedures.
