Critiqued and addressed disadvantageous policies on biomedical-healthcare research spending and medicine production from US Congress by way of Academic Institutions by creating ‘Report Cards’ and other statistical measures with other members in different countries (Australia, Great Britain, Canada, Brazil). Analyze bills, news reports, and research literature on biomedical research of academic universities.

Examined technology transfer methods and patent portfolio of the entire Watson School of Engineering & Applied Science for strategic planning & execution. Remodeled patent portfolio in Microsoft Excel & Inteum Web Portal through performing statistical analysis and data visualization. New portfolio helped the division to discover trends such as frequently cited patents and patent life cycle after patent application data and finalized new patent contracts bringing in more than $100,000 in funds into the office division.

We used LS-DYNA Modeling Software to verify a premier fusion cadaver-manikin model by replicating the results of neck injury.This research was conducted as part of the Repperger Research Student Internship Participation Program of the Oak Ridge Institute for Science & Education.

Currently studying as a Doctoral Research Student in the Graduate Biomedical Engineering Program as well as the Center for Biomedical Engineering & Rehabilitation Science aligned with the Institute for Micromanufacturing. As a team member of Dr. David Mills' Laboratory (Professor - Biomedical Engineering & Biomedical Sciences), I am working on a research project with Ms. Sonali Karnik titled, "Stem Cell Proliferation & Differentiation through Capped Clay Nanotubes". Project Description: Stem cells can be coaxed to grow into new bone or new cartilage better and faster when given the right molecular cues. The challenge is inducing how and where stem cells grow and into the right kind of cell in a three-dimension environment. Such a system requires a means to regulate cell proliferation, cell-specific differentiation leading to bone-like or cartilage-like cells, tissue specific matrix formation and functional tissues. Furthermore, depending on the target tissue, control over the physical, chemical and mechanical influences is key to directing cell behavior in three-dimensions, and, ultimately, as a method to grow tissues for regenerative medicine applications.

I watch for donor reactions such as coughing, sneezing, wheezing, fainting, vomiting, etc. I help the patients re-energize themselves by feeding them food & drink. I volunteer at least 6 hours per month.

As a Chapel Technician, I had the responsibility of mastering and using the Soundboard system to provide sound and audio to microphones and various instruments, using the Enlighten Lighting Program to provide stage and room spotlight, operate the curtains of the chapel, and work with customers on preparing and performing the best show or event possible. Worked on and during various events raging from concerts to pageants to academic social panels.

Currently an undergraduate research assistant conducting research in Temperature Biomechanics in the Biomedical Engineering Department at the University of Texas at Austin for Dr. Kenneth Diller & Dr. Sepideh Khoshnevis. This research focused specifically on human thermoregulation, thermal treatment of injured soft tissues, safe and effective induction of therapeutic hypothermia, and burn injury. Analyze and simulate data using the COMSOL Multiphysics Modeling & Simulation Program. Part of the Department of the Navy Consortium Program (Involved Schools: Huston Tillotson University, University of Texas at Austin, University of Texas at San Antonio, Florida A&M University, Texas Southern University) called the Unified Approach to Increase Minority Participation in STEM Jobs of the Navy.

Performed research at the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems & the Department of Agricultural & Biological Engineering over Microgravity Effects on the Human Heart by conducting Finite Element Analysis using the Abaqus Simulation System and Linux Coding Software. Focused on how the astronaut’s heart changed shape and functioned while on space missions. Researched conducted as part of the 2014 Summer Computational Biology Research for Undergraduate Program of the National Science Foundation

Performed research over the Quantum Energy of Particles & Particle Location Probability by thoroughly experimenting and analyzing wave functions that determine only probabilities of actual results that can be obtained in a statistical ensemble of similar experiments. Taught the fundamentals and skills of tennis to children ages 5 - 15 mostly during the summer months during May, June, and July. Also providing assistance with field trips and other programs dealing with education, academic enrichment, physical fitness, and athletics. I have also volunteered with the program and I have been a student in the program for 10 or more years.

Taught the fundamentals, rules, and skills to the game of golf to children ages 7 to 15 at the beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels during the summer months of May, June, and July at the Harvey Penick Golf Campus for the Greater Austin First Tee of Golf Program. Was a student in the program since 5th Grade in Elementary School.
