As part of the Operations Team, I was responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation of servers in the virtual lab and test environment servers.Configure, test, and perform administration for Virtual and Physical Server Infrastructure, Storage Area Network, Backup Environment, MS Active Directory environment, and other related equipment.I would regularly work with the support representatives and developers to ensure they had all of the proper testing environments needed to effectively troubleshoot customer escalations at a moment’s notice.I would manage and update tickets through our Zendesk ticketing system along with fulfilling other projects and request given to me.

In my role as Network Administrator - Support Manager I was responsible for the day to day operations of our server room. I made sure all of the Backups were running smoothly. I managed production servers and made sure everything ran smoothly with 99.9% up-time. Responded to network connectivity problems and any escalations form the support team.I built and maintained virtual test environments in VMware for the support engineers and developers to ensure that our products worked on the various Microsoft Exchange platforms ranging from Exchange 5.5 through Exchange 2013 and all service packs in between.I would assist in testing complicated software issues with the support reps and developers to ensure our products maintained integrity and high standards.I would take customer and vendor escalation calls and handle on case by case basis to ensure customer satisfaction within company guidelines.

In my role as Junior Systems engineer – Technical Support, I was responsible for resolving taking incoming calls and support tickets from customers and vendors using our software. I was the first line of communication for problem solving and escalations. I assisted in the configuration and installation of servers, routers, switches, firewalls and wireless controllers. I helped in to perform daily system monitoring, verifying the Integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes.I worked with customers in all versions of Microsoft Exchange ranging from Exchange 5.5 to Microsoft Exchange 2013. I guided and assisted with installation, configuration and technical training of all Lucid8 software applications.Along with the customer support I also did black box testing of Lucid8 software prior to release to check for bugs and write up any issues found.
