Worked with control system, including Foxboro I/A DCS, Honeywell SMS safety system, and GE Mark V system. Provided extensive interface design and operations review with host LNG facility. Provided maintenance planning, including development of tasks through reliability-centered maintenance methods and FMEA tables. Developed operating and maintenance plans.

Provided refinement of analysis process and measurement of its effectiveness. Produced maintenance tasks, including individual system/component analysis, documentation, validation, and working with other groups for implementation. Provided analysis and implementation of maintenance programs for Rolls-Royce RB211 and Avon gas turbines, and reciprocating engines. Served as a representative on a consortium that sought to consolidate maintenance activities with other western Canadian pipeline operators to achieve cost benefits. Served on the technical review team for turbo-compressor unit standard specification revision.

Acted as project manager and instrumentation and controls engineer for capital projects, including: transfer compressor package, gas turbine controls retrofit, and fuel gas upgrades.

LaMora Compressor Station; Puelen Compressor StationParticipated in and executed the detailed design of two new compression plants, each with a site capacity of 9.7 MW, based on Solar Taurus turbine units. Served on site as technical advisor during installation, commissioning, and reconciliation. Supervised four local engineers and numerous draftsmen. Worked closely with local vendors for equipment specification and testing. Worked with local operations staff to understand requirements and ensure smooth facility hand-off. Worked with communications engineers towards the installation of telecommunications and SCADA facilities. Supervised the complete electrical design.
