Main job role on the Songa Dee was to remove old diverter line which run along inside of the rig in two directions, had to follow new detailed plans of new installation and route of diverter line, which had to go directly down through penetration to under deck and one side come out at port and other at starboard side. Also install 3 new high pressure 1t.

Working on the 714 which was dry docked in Nigg Bay Yard.Destruct and Installing 2” sounding lines in every column of the rig while teaching A level one rigger. Install new 4”-14” cement line also replaces all fire water main lines.Remove old winches and install brand new one 4 of them.

Invergordon

This is my first chance to work on a live FPSO ship Blue water based in Nigg Yard Daily tasks included obtaining permits for removal of pump room 16” main water fire lines and pumps, installing new valves and attaching spools. Removal/install of hatch doors around the ship. Installation of new camera vales based underneath the ship and much more.

Pipe destruct/installation for all the legs, and under deck. Destruct and install all choke and kill line.Install 20t reel for moon pool/ install BOPRemove/install 16 inch flow line

Invergordon

Working with a small team we had to Remove/refit two thrusters on the Prospect oil rig as well as the removal of the cement machine and fit new updated cement machine.this been a priority job we had to work along with the OIM been in constant contact to make sure all was within the time line. Refit of shaker room including new shaker and pipe work.

I have been working on the galaxy one. Started of water blasting at 560ft to remove years of corrosion and salt water which caused heavy rusting, spent all Christmas blasting and then started to paint from 560ft down to 200ft applying all 3 coats which can work in -30 degrees. Also painted leg wells and other rig requirements'.

My first job on the ropes as a level one on the Transocean 712 was needle gunning andBuffing large areas of the Riggs legs been supervised by a level 3.I then went from that job to the galaxy 2 where I did the same kind of work, needle gun, buffing prep work of the hull and leg wells and then had to paint the entire hull with high powered rollers from base.
