Key Achievements:• Having full responsibility for all IT Operations, Transition & Transformation activities and successfully designing, leading and advising on multiple related projects; providing technical expertise into strategic decision making, and setting the departments goals; making recommendations, identifying potential risks and achieving to project timelines and budgets.• Working closely with key stakeholders to ascertain their requirements and ensure all parties are effectively informed of project details/technical aspects of required work; developing agreed programme plans, whilst customizing approach to organisational needs & translating solutions/information to be understood by a wider audience.• Controlling all aspects of day to day IT operations, including managing the O2 `Managed Service Helpdesk` and all the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, upgrading and supporting of IT systems. This involves servers, PCs, operating systems, software applications and peripherals. • Consistently having a `hands on` approach to team leadership/training, including management of x30 staff: Building a culture of people management based on valuing colleagues and grounded in ensuring clear communication is maintained at all levels; motivating, encouraging, training, and explicitly recognising individuals’ strengths.• Consistently delivering exemplary levels of service and meeting all SLAs: Increasing the Hardware SLA to an average of 96.5% per month and increasing software support SLA to a 99.9% monthly average.• Implementing bespoke processes that have improved IMAC work for the entire estate, whilst additionally designing and implementing processes for the successful `Thelma` project- converting company owned stores to franchise.• Undertaking a range of related tasks including; validating and recommending third party solutions etc.; identifying, building and maintaining relationships with vendors, and managing outsourced teams.
