Led and developed a large process department, with up to 17 direct reports, assessing the qualifications of internationally qualified nurses and midwives. Key role in ensuring the maintenance of patient safety.Introduced a new UK wide university based education programme for the skills assessment of all non-EU trained nurses and midwives.Trained and performance managed a team to reduce a caseload backlog of 10,000 to 100 within six months, bringing a key function back within corporate operating service levels.
