Throughout my life I had always been told by my friends and family that I was a salesman at heart. If I liked something, everyone I knew had to like it...or at least I would try! I decided to jump into the sales profession at 24 years old. I was selling office equipment for a Nanaimo based company for a couple years. I truly enjoyed selling, building relationships and solving problems for our clients. Although, after a couple years I realized I wasn't cutout to sit behind a desk all day, and I wanted a more personal touch. I felt I needed to get out on the road, meet clients in person and build a stronger rapport. I came across an opportunity for a National Sales Representative at VMAC Global Technology, so I decided to take my shot.I started out with VMAC at the age of 26, traveling to California, Oregon and Washington for two weeks a month for five years, and the last seven years managing my current territory of Alaska, Western Canada, the Prairies and the Maritimes - managing upwards of sixty VMAC distributors and a few national accounts. In true "Road Warrior" fashion, I enjoy traveling across the country performing product demonstrations to current and potential customers with the "VMAC demo truck", meeting with VMAC distributors along the way - providing VMAC sales training for their sales team and working together to provide the best air compressor solutions for their clients. And as an added bonus, I have built some great relationships along the way.
