I started my role as a Physiotherapy Assistant working in Acute Medicine. Since starting my Physiotherapy degree, I have been fortunate to stay within the Trust as a NHSP Therapy Assistant, gaining experience in Orthopaedics and Intermediate Care.

My role involved the collection, analysis and presentation of workplace wellbeing health data. This would involve 1:1 consultations to collect objective and subjective health data. Using this information I would analyse data using Excel/SPSS and present it using Canva to advise health recommendations in relation to the British Society of Lifestyle Medicine.

An internship focussing on Performance Analysis & Strength and Conditioning working with Everton FC Academy. A great opportunity to work with coaches, medical staff and players from U12 to U23. I was able to lead gym and pitch-based S&C sessions with player-load data being collected via Stat Sports GPS and analysed using Sonra Software. Additionally I had the opportunity to film training and matches, analysing footage using Sports Code and Hudl.

My role consisted of collecting qualitative data through semi-structured interviews to participants enrolled on the LFC Foundation employability courses. Once the data was collected I was able to produce case studies with the aims of attracting new students to the courses by highlighting the ‘impact’ it has had on people’s lives.

I was involved in delivering the Football+ programme which is designed for students who wanted to develop their footballing ability whilst studying English in the UK. Additionally, I would lead classroom-based activities and also excursions to places across England and Wales.
