Machine Operator
Current•Set up, break down and operate machines and equipment while troubleshooting and resolving maintenance issues and making basic machine repairs.•Basic mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems competency.•Creates work-orders, completes record keeping logs, and prioritizes tasks for efficient plant operation.•Cleans floors/floor coverings with floor scrubber and Zamboni using Ecolab chemicals.•Appropriately selects, uses, and disposes of cleaning agents such as chlorine bleaches, alkaline, acids, scouring agents and soaps per OSHA standards.•Working knowledge of commercial cleaning supplies, disinfectants, sanitizers, multi-purpose cleaners, glass cleaners, and disinfecting wipes.•Separates pasteurized skim milk from silos into vats; add cultures and monitor PH levels.•Cut and cook culture to proper texture, and separate whey from cheese and put into cooling towers.•Understands refrigeration processes and utilizes Ammonia system requirements for safe operation.•Operates a forklift to move sheet stock materials and finished products into refrigerated trailers.
