As a Network Engineer for the Federal Reserve, I was responsible for the support of the WAN / LAN environment. On call rotation included 2 weeks on and 4 weeks off. During my on call rotation, I was responsible for supporting any high severity tickets which included network down and project support.After my on call rotation, I was responsible for project work. This required me to work with local tier 2 Network Support and the Network Operations Center.

As a Network Engineer for BSR I was responsible for the technical design, implementation and support of the BSR LAN/WAN/MAN technical systems and applications. I was also responsible for collaboration with BSHSI Network Operations Center (NOC) in planning the overall BSR network health and design.

As a Network Engineer for ABS I was responsible for planning, configuring, and troubleshooting Cisco small business and enterprise equipment while maintaining customer LAN/WAN networks by troubleshooting onsite or via remote support. I was primarily supporting Healthcare and K-12 customers by configuring, installing, and troubleshooting WLAN infrastructures including Access Points, Bridges, and Wireless LAN Controllers while utilizing WCS and Prime Infrastructure to manage the environments. Other responsibilities included troubleshooting Tier-1 VoIP issues configure, deploying Barracuda and Cisco Meraki Cloud Networking solutions, developing Access Lists in support of client security and maintaining customer Barracuda Backup and Firewall systems

As a Recruiter I developed recruiting strategies designed to identify qualified candidates through various tools. I evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of candidates through screening, interviews and negotiating wages, benefits, and other terms and conditions of employment with candidates. I helped oversee pre-employment steps including reference checks and background/drug tests.

As a IT Technician I was responsible for teaching troubleshooting techniques to Roanoke College student, faculty, and staff members to reduce Dell KACE tickets and computer down time. We utilized KBOX imaging utility to migrate computers from XP to 7, troubeshot break-fix computer hardware and software issues on all brands of desktop and laptop computers, and worked on minor networking solutions such as domain, personal network folders, Active Directory, switches, Ciscoworks, and Richo printer connections.

As a EDI Contractor for Advance Auto Parts I was responsible for evaluating EDI transmissions between AAP and its vendors. This included communicating with vendors the changes needed to its EDI-856 transmissions and reducing the organizations inventory cost by providing accurate inbound transactions.

As a Intern for Advance Auto Parts I was responsible for training and leading a team of workers to gather and support the expansion with product information to create a computerized warehouse picking system that will dramatically reduce labor costs.
