As a graduate research assistant for SCIPP, I updated or created climate change descriptions for State Hazard Mitigation Plans in the SCIPP region, conducted a climatology of suitable prescribed burn days in the Southern Plains, and created a visual drought scale of the U.S. With the South Central Climate Adaptation Science Center, I analyzed the future frequency of heavy rainfall and severe drought events in the south-central U.S. using statistically downscaled climate projections.

Handled logistics of OK-First courses, including registration and venues; acted as roving instructor for courses that taught emergency personnel about meteorology and radar interpretation; managed databases; handled customer service; updated meteorological training aids, often using radar case studies for radar interpretation lessons; assisted both Oklahoma Mesonet summer camps.
