My educational experience includes a degree in Information Systems Technology and a second Associate of Technical Arts degree in Electronics Technology. I am A+ Certified, a Certified Novell Administrator and a Certified Novell Engineer. I have been working in the IT field since 1996 at various levels of customer support. I am currently employed with Dell which has provided me with extensive experience in a help desk environment troubleshooting, documenting and resolving technical related inquiries for desktops, laptops and printers as per company protocol. From December 2000 to March 2005, I was employed under contract with the Government of Alberta to provide both telephone and desk side support in a networked environment.I feel my education and skills will strongly assist me with carrying out the responsibilities for an computer support type position, including superior client support, ability to work in a team environment, experience with various software application packages and hardware platforms.
