New England’s premier family outdoor adventure, New England Base Camp (NEBC), is a year around facility with interactive, hands on experiences for the entire family.Scout groups, schools, corporations and families come to NEBC to learn how to go rock climbing, start a fire using friction, shoot a bow and arrow. They take part of trainings to learn winter camping skills, communication skills and team building. Youth attend camps where they work with some of the top scientists in the world, take a 50 mile sea kayaking trip or take an ice climbing trek.

Serving Scouts in the Greater Boston region in the areas of membership, fundraising, program and man power. • Servicing a district with ~2,200 youth members through a fifteen member volunteer committee• Managed a $220,000 popcorn campaign with a 20% increase in popcorn sales over the previous year• Developed a winter program for Venturing (boys and girls over the age of 14) that included ice climbing- the only place in the greater Boston area to have ice climbing• 20% increase of Tiger Scouts recruited 2013

This position allowed for the development and implementation of a learning program with avariety of subjects. It also allowed the freedom to experiment with the delivery of the program.The subject matter varied from communication and leadership to technical training of newsoftware being developed. Trainings and workshops were provided in a variety of manners whichincluded traditional trainings, e-learning and webinars. Travel to partner locations to provideTrain the Trainer workshops with documentation and post training sessions.bwin is an industry leader in software development and implementation. In 2009, bwin launchedtheir P5 software, which was a multi-year project, at the same time as entering into new markets.During this time, this position served the dual role of Learning and Development Training as wellas Project Management.The final year of employment was focused on the coaching of individuals.

Worth Ranch is one of the oldest Boy Scout summer camps in the nation, serving Scouts since 1929, rich with tradition and culture. • Managed a team of 50 employees. • Oversaw the program for both youth and adults, with specific courses on communication, leadership, fun in the workplace and implementing programs for youth.• Ensured the health and safety of 400+ youth per week• Opened a new $400k dining hall

The position called for the development of a program which would allow for the exploration ofnature by youth and adults from ages 5 to 70 from a variety of cultures and nationalities.Workshops were implemented on how to bring this program back to their local organizations. AnEnvironmental Room was established where participants would be able to touch, listen and smellthe nature experience indoors. Large programs were run on a daily basis for groups up to 1,700people.
