This experience has included, but is not restricted to the following areas of accountancy:• Projects - Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), spend reporting and analysis• Assets - Management of Fixed Asset Register, depreciation simulations and posting, • General Ledger – Profit centre/cost centre/general ledger reporting, provisions, adjustments, payroll, balance sheet reconciliations, dealing with audit queries.• Commercial – Cost of sales, raw material receipting, product costing• Financial Reporting – Result submission to internal and external customers, AP calculation and submission.• Basic management accounting - Budgeting, forecasting. My role revolved around the processing of hire purchase agreement documentation. Main responsibilities of the role were data entry and proof checking to eliminate errors. I also undertook other general administration duties as they arose.

The position was a student placement within the special risk management team for UK underwriting. The role primarily involved analysis of management information and financial year end accounts along with any relevant press releases/share price fluctuations relating to companies that were credit insured by Atradius. I would also be involved in meetings/calls with financial directors in order to clarify/gather relevant information.
