After spending five years in the early child development field where I was fortunate enough to develop children six months to five years old and help educate their parents on furthering their development, I found myself enamored by the transportation field. After entering Amazon’s transportation department as an outbound ship clerk and learning more of the logistic side of the transportation field, I moved to a more direct role in the industry. Currently, I am serving as a Field Transportation Lead where I am able to utilize my logistic experience to maintain yard capacity, develop schedules, communicate with carriers, manage a shift of highly qualified associates, assist in scheduling loads to fulfill customer promise, and invent new methods to further improve the transportation field locally at LAS2.
