Wells Support Engineer

Joined well delivery team, supporting drilling, completions and well services community with core responsibilities of managing wells data, administrating systems used, training personnel and helping drive performance from information and data gathered. Throughout this time there were a number of management changes, upheavals, personnel movement in and out, reorganisations and changes in strategy. I continued to adapt and deliver results.Spearheaded secondary role as facilitator and event coordinator, organising and coordinating six crew engagement events in 2017 and early 2020. These involved 60-70 people at each event, staying 2 nights at a hotel and using conference facilities. Working to budgets, worked closely with a professional facilitating company, organised entertainment and transport. Also independently ran several workshops and planning meetings for the wells team.I was also the office framing facilitation team lead in 2019 until Covid hit. This involved helping projects in the opening steps of decision quality analyses and identifying key Project issues.Further: Conducted regular comprehensive performance analyses on drilling, completion and well services. Produced regular drilling and completions performance analyses, using Rushmore and our own data for management presentations. Recommended well planning improvements based on analyses of wells performance data. Filled in one trip on Magnus as Wellsite Drilling Engineer, supporting the drilling supervisors with planning and preparation, safety focus, continual performance monitoring and improvement. On hand Data manager and application expert in Landmark. Trained/ mentored the engineers in using Compass, StressCheck and WellPlan and promoted use within the department. Developed training documentation and workflows. Further enhanced knowledge/ understanding through training in stuck pipe, completion design, directional drilling/ borehole surveying, drilling fluids and wireline interventions.
